1. Food Preparation
Assist in preparing meals (e.g. chopping vegetables, making sandwiches, portioning food).
Follow recipes and dietary guidelines.
Heat or reheat pre-cooked items.
2. Serving Food
Serve food to students and staff during breakfast and/or lunch periods.
Ensure portion control and presentation standards.
Assist with line setup and restocking during meal service.
3. Cleaning and Sanitizing
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Wipe down tables, counters, and food prep areas.
Sanitize equipment and follow health and safety regulations.
4. Stocking and Inventory
Unpack and store food deliveries.
Rotate stock to ensure freshness (FIFO: First In, First Out).
Monitor supplies and inform supervisor when items run low.
5. Compliance and Safety
Follow food safety standards (e.g. proper food handling, storage, and hygiene).
