Job Title: High School Science Teacher

Location: Wapello, IA (25 miles south of Muscatine and 30 miles north of Burlington)
Position Type: Full-time
School Year: 2026-2027

Requirements:

• Iowa Teaching License with an endorsement in Science.
  
  
• Knowledge of Iowa Core Standards.
  
  
• Familiarity with Professional Learning Community (PLC) roles and functions.
  
  
• Ability to develop engaging, student-centered lessons within the Science curriculum.
  
  
• Capacity to create a positive classroom culture that supports the diverse needs of students.
  
  
• Collaboration with colleagues to create a cross-curricular sense of cohesion.
  
  
• Strong classroom management skills.
