Keokuk High School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Social Studies teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction based on the Iowa Core Social Studies Standards
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Integrate literacy skills, primary sources, and inquiry-based learning into instruction
- Assess student learning and use data to inform instruction
- Incorporate technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with staff in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
