Position Summary

West Fork Community School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Head Volleyball Coach to lead and grow our high school volleyball program. The Head Coach will provide leadership in developing a competitive program built on fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Essential Duties

• Plan and direct all aspects of the high school volleyball program.

• Develop practice plans emphasizing skill progression and team systems.

• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches.

• Foster strong communication with athletes, parents, and administration.

• Coordinate with youth programs to strengthen long-term program success.

• Ensure compliance with district policies and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) regulations.

• Promote academic accountability and positive character development.

Qualifications

• Iowa coaching authorization or valid coaching license.

• Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
