Season: Fall (IHSAA/IGHSAU Season)

Position Summary
West Fork Community School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Head Volleyball Coach to lead and grow our high school volleyball program. The Head Coach will provide leadership in developing a competitive program built on fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Essential Duties

Plan and direct all aspects of the high school volleyball program.

Develop practice plans emphasizing skill progression and team systems.

Supervise and mentor assistant coaches.

Foster strong communication with athletes, parents, and administration.

Coordinate with youth programs to strengthen long-term program success.

Ensure compliance with district policies and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) regulations.

Promote academic accountability and positive character development.
Qualifications

Iowa coaching authorization or valid coaching license.

Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
