Anticipated 3rd Grade Teacher

Williamsburg Community School District and Mary Welsh Elementary are seeking applicants for a 3rd grade general education classroom position. Successful candidates should have expertise in reading and math instruction (both whole class and small group), as well as skills in classroom management, structuring of literacy blocks, and the use of formative assessment data to diagnose the potential need for additional support or enrichment for individual students. Candidates should be willing to contribute to the collaborative practice of the 3rd grade team and building, including data analysis, development of interventions, prioritizing of standards, and development of content area proficiency scales and assessments. Additions to our team in Williamsburg should be prepared to use instruction, technology, and collaboration to meet the collective commitments of Mary Welsh Elementary and the mission and vision of our school district.
