What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Pension Review Specialist position at Teacher-Retirement.com?
What this role is
Teachers have pensions, 403(b)s, and spouses with income. Most have never had someone sit with them and look at the whole picture. That's the job.
Teacher-Retirement is a virtual distribution platform built exclusively for the educator retirement market. We provide pre-set, pre-educated appointments with teachers who are expecting us, have been introduced to the concept in advance, and show up at a 79.4% rate. You bring the skill. We bring the calendar.
This is not a cold-call role. It is not a lead-buying role. It is not a build-your-own-pipeline role. If you are already closing at a high level and you are tired of the infrastructure tax that comes with doing it alone, read the rest of this.
What you'll do
Conduct virtual pension review appointments with K-12 educators across the country. Walk teachers through their full financial picture: pension, 403(b), spousal income, survivor benefit elections, and the gap between what they have and what they need. Place appropriate solutions when they fit.
What you need
Active life and annuity license in your home state. Two or more years of production experience in life, annuity, or retirement planning. A track record you can point to. The ability to work independently inside a defined system. A genuine standard for putting the teacher's plan first, not the easiest or highest paying product.
We are not the right fit for kitchen-sink sellers, anyone building a downline, or anyone who treats scare tactics as a close.
Who we're looking for
Experienced producers who want bigger cases, better clientele, and a platform with a mission they can put their name behind. If your current situation has a lead cost problem, a show rate problem, or a ceiling problem, this is an ideal opportunity for you.
