Description
- Maintain the established routines and procedures of the school and
- Maintain a climate that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
- Maintain an effective level of communication with staff and
- Strives to maintain and improve professional
- Must be an innovative, passionate, and energetic
- Required to use the district time management system, TCP, for accepting substitute positions, clocking in and approving and verifying hours
- Must maintain an acceptable standard of professionalism while a sub in the
- Use appropriate language and tone when speaking with students and
- Avoiding gossip or negative comments about the regular teacher or
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by executing school emergency procedures and protocols effectively during drills and real emergencies
- Reports to the Building
- Must adhere to substitute handbook, board policies and building
Responsibilities
Additional Requirements and
- New Substitutes must complete building substitute job shadowing before accepting
- Complete state or district required training assigned by
- Attend beginning of the year substitute teacher
- District requests substitutes accepting assignments should not cancel unless there is an emergency, repeated cancellation may cause HR to remove sub from the district list
