Assisting in preparing and facilitating activities to promote Infant and toddlers cognitive/social and emotional development.
Daily documenting of children's activities and progress through our parent app Lillio.
Aid in supporting all learners individually and in small groups to promote the understanding of more challenging concepts and foundational skills.
Aid in the safety of children in the classroom and playground.
Daily engagement to foster a warm, loving and nurturing environment.
Work daily to adhere to rules outlined by the State of Michigan Licensing rules and center protocols to aid in compliance with Childcare licensing.
Summary
As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will be essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. Reporting to the Early Childhood Education Director, you will utilize your core skills in classroom management and early childhood education to create engaging lesson plans and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities. Your premium skills in curriculum development and behavior management will enhance the learning experience, while your relevant skills in literacy education and special education will support diverse learners. Qualifications
- Understanding of infant and toddler development
- Patience and attention to details and curriculum implementation and documentation
- Experience in special education and early intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and parents

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
