Duties

• Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Interpret production documents to ensure correct packaging specifications, labels, and documentation are followed precisely.
• Handle materials with care using appropriate material handling equipment, including forklifts when necessary, to move products within the warehouse or manufacturing area.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery and industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and finished products while following safety standards in production environments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, ensuring compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately counting, labeling, and documenting packaged items for shipment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing facilities or warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and documentation accuracy.
• Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to packaging equipment or industrial machinery is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; certification is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret production documents accurately.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining safety protocol adherence.
