The Doctors Company is currently seeking a Manager Enterprise Project Office to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based at any TDC or PRA office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Computer Science or equivalent and a minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably within an insurance industry
  • Experience with Project Management, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certificate in Business Analysis a plus
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to demonstrate forward thinking and plans for potential roadblocks; comprehends bigger picture of the business strategy
  • Maintains knowledge and familiarity with current and emerging technologies, best practices, business processes, and industry trends

Business Analysis & Roadmap Management

  • Develop business cases with clear objectives, scope and metrics, including business process workflows and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with sponsor/business leads to identify and manage core business requirements.
  • Partner with business lead to develop and manage delivery roadmap of requirements,
  • Manage requirements traceability
  • Coordinate user acceptance activities against feature requirements.
  • Support end user training and other OCM related activities for deployment.
  • Coordinates requirements dependencies and priorities across business functions and technology platforms.
  • Definition of work product formats, methodology and schedule for assigned deliverables within the overall project work breakdown structure (such as business requirements, system selection, UAT)

Management Consulting – Solution Development

  • Serve as the strategic interface between assigned business domains and the EOP, shaping demand, aligning priorities, and ensuring value realization from shared service capabilities,
  • Lead solution evaluation and selection efforts to achieve business goals, which could include leveraging existing platforms, sourcing alternatives through an RFI process, or connecting to emerging capabilities,
  • Consult in the refinement of existing TDC processes, projects, or programs adding new ideas to make the result more flexible and more tightly linked to business objectives.
  • Consult in the creation of a useful model(s) to communicate current state, future state, and gap definitions in support of decision-making processes.
  • Build, mature, and sustain trust based relationships with assigned business units, acting as the strategic interface between functions and the EPO.
  • Support the continuous improvement of all internal systems to meet the demands of a growing/changing business environment.

Program Management & Execution

  • Lead a team or committee to support the implementation and execution of the identified plan
  • Establish the metrics for successful implementation and execution
  • Risk Management
  • Proactively identify, manage, and resolve program level risks, issues, and cross initiative dependencies to protect deliverables and value.
  • Develop and secure approval for risk management strategies.
  • Maintain accountability for the implementation of risk management strategies and monitoring risk status.
  • Monitor and manage progress against plan and prepare reports detailing project status to communicate updates to project stakeholders.
  • Lead coordination of communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring and adequate OCM plan for the project needs.

People, Leadership, & Talent

  • Clearly establish and communicate the roles, expectations, and responsibilities of each team member.
  • Provide guidance and support to help employees achieve their performance and development goals.
  • Communicate ongoing, constructive feedback to direct reports to recognize achievements, address challenges, and promote growth.
  • Schedule and facilitate consistent 1:1 meeting and ensure the timely completion of performance review cycles to maintain alignment and accountability.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, development, and innovation by supporting team members in pursuing new challenges and opportunities.

    Learning, Development, & Compliance

    • Maintain full compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and established standards (e.g. accurately recording time worked, Submitting PTO, mandatory corporate training)
    • Keep technical knowledge and skills current to effectively support department priorities.
    • Complete all performance and development activities including the performance review process in a timely manner.
    • Fulfill all required training and development obligations to maintain essential skills and credentials.
    • Complete all mandatory compliance courses on time, meeting corporate training standards.
    • Pursue additional learning opportunities that strengthen professional capabilities and contribute to team and organizational performance, with prior manager approval.

    Other Duties Assigned

    • Support enterprise and departmental objectives by taking on assigned projects and delegated tasks with accountability, attention to detail, and timely execution.
    • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance business efficiency and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
    • Proactively provide regular updates to leadership on project status, deliverables, and outcomes.
    • Maintain flexibility and agility to take on additional responsibilities as organizational needs evolve.

    Salary Range: $131,102 - $172,072 . Compensation varies based on skills, knowledge, and education. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay.
