As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules for complex construction and infrastructure projects. Under general direction, you will support project teams by providing critical schedule insights, identifying risks, and driving schedule performance across the full project lifecycle.
In this role, you will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and project controls professionals to ensure alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives. You will play a key role in schedule development, progress tracking, forecasting, and performance analysis while contributing to continuous improvement in scheduling practices and tools.

As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules for complex construction and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will work closely with project managers, construction teams, and project controls professionals to ensure alignment between planning, execution, and project objectives. You will play a key role in schedule development, progress tracking, forecasting, and performance analysis while contributing to continuous improvement in scheduling practices and tools.
Your Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules from pre-construction through project completion
- Collaborate with project teams to establish baseline schedules and execution plans
- Lead planning sessions and scheduling workshops to define project sequencing and logic
- Update schedules based on field progress and validate accuracy through site coordination
- Analyze schedule performance, including critical path, float, and key variances
- Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
- Develop forecasting models using production rates and resource data
- Create “what-if” scenarios to evaluate schedule impacts and recovery plans
- Support cost and schedule integration through resource loading and performance tracking
- Prepare and present schedule updates, reports, and analysis to project stakeholders
- Document schedule changes and support claims avoidance and project documentation efforts
- Assist in the development and use of 4D scheduling models when applicable
- Mentor team members and support scheduling best practices across projects
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls
- Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for construction or infrastructure projects
- Working knowledge of scheduling methodologies, sequencing, and project execution planning
- Familiarity with cost and schedule integration, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Ability to analyze schedule data and communicate insights clearly to project teams
- Experience supporting projects from planning through execution and closeout
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at project locations as needed
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools
- Experience supporting large-scale or complex infrastructure or industrial projects
- Exposure to construction logistics, resource planning, and field coordination
- Experience developing 4D schedules or working with schedule visualization tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to schedule performance
- Experience mentoring or training team members on scheduling best practices
- Ability to present schedule analysis to project leadership or stakeholders
- $80,000-$110,000 annual salary
