Your Role:
As a Senior Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects, leading teams, and driving engineering solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the design and execution of complex structural engineering projects
- Managing project scope, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff
- Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Coordinating with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conducting construction oversight and administration as needed
- Leading business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with other Project Managers / Multidisciplinary teams on projects ensuring timely completion

- Municipal Buildings
- Commercial Buildings
- Educational Facilities
- Bridges and Aquatic Organism Passage Structures
- Residential Projects
- Federal Government facilities (e.g., U.S. Air Force projects)
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced leader with strong technical and project management skills. The candidate will work under experienced department managers all holding Professional Engineer licenses. The Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated and eager to contribute to a growing team. TD&H will provide project management training if necessary. The ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering structural focus from an accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 5 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams
- Strong client relationship management and business development experience
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work on schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience living or working in Montana is a plus
