Tri County Refrigeration is a growing HVAC service company based in Owego, NY. We’re a small, dedicated team that values reliability, flexibility, and hard work. Our office works closely with field technicians both in Owego and in our Albany location, so the environment can be fast-paced and lively.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and is comfortable taking on a wide range of responsibilities in a small business setting.
We are especially looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term career and growing with our company.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Accounts Payable processing
- Creating customer proposals
- Answering phones and greeting visitors (reception duties)
- Filing, organizing documents, and handling mailings
- Assisting the Office Manager with daily tasks
- Receiving parts and deliveries
- Tracking employee safety trainings and certifications
- General administrative support as needed and cross-training
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a blue-collar environment with a casual, boisterous atmosphere
- QuickBooks and/or BuildOps experience preferred but not required
