Duties
- 1099 Employment Must have Own vehicle and insurance.
- Safely operate your own vehicles to transport medical supplies and packages.
- Load, unload, and organize shipments using manual handling techniques.
- Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients, healthcare staff, and patients during delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices, ensuring proper documentation of all drop offs.
- Comply with all safety standards related to heavy lifting, manual handling, warehouse operations, and weight handling in the workplace.Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within a medical or warehouse environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial trucks or vans is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic regulations, and DOT compliance requirements.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly; experience with heavy lifting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients and team.
- Self-motivated with reliable transportation and flexible availability to meet delivery schedules.
