Job Overview
We are seeking a professional CDL-B Driver to join our team, responsible for safely operating a 1 ton truck and gooseneck trailer to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to safety. This full-time position requires a valid CDL-B license with relevant driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 1 ton truck with manual transmission.
- Load and unload freight at designated locations.
- Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with job Foremen and Office staff.
- Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-B license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving, including route driving, freight delivery, and load & unload operations.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as needed. This position offers a dynamic work environment in the NWA region.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
