The Sanitation and Batching Technician reports to the Sanitation and Batching Supervisor and is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment to meet regulatory and company standards, organizing and maintaining a hygienic environment, and conducting detailed inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols. This position is essential for upholding safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Perform Equipment Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize production equipment thoroughly, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all equipment is free from contaminants and residue.
- Organize production areas to ensure a clean and orderly environment.
- Dispose of waste and sanitize shared spaces to maintain operational hygiene.
- Perform completion inspections for equipment cleaning and environmental organization.
- Identify and address any issues to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.
- Support batch production activities from 9:00 PM to midnight, ensuring cleaning and organization efforts align with production requirements.
- Inspect and turn off equipment power to prepare for the weekend shutdown.
Qualifications
Experience & Knowledge
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or sanitation role preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standardas (GMP, OSHA, FDA, or similar guidelines).
- Familiarity with equipment shut-down and inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Ability to identify and resolve sanitation or equipment issues quickly.
- Good organizational skills to maintain a clean, orderly environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with batch production teams.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout production areas for extended periods.
- Capability to lift, carry, and move up to [X lbs—company standard, e.g., 50 lbs].
- Comfortable working evening and late-night hours (Tuesday–Friday schedule).
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Safety-minded with a commitment to compliance and hygiene standards.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training in sanitation, safety, or production operations preferred.
Salary : $19 - $21
