IMR / Quality Control Technician
Position Summary
The Inspection Measurement & Repair (IMR) Technician is responsible for inspecting, measuring, documenting, and processing parts according to OEM specifications and company procedures within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect parts according to OEM prints and traveler instructions
- Use precision measuring equipment including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- CMM equipment experience a HUGE plus and preferred
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Record measurements and inspection data accurately
- Identify defects, wear, or damage to parts and critical surfaces
- Input inspection results into SPC and quality tracking systems
- Maintain inspection tools and work area cleanliness
- Follow established operating and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous quality control or inspection experience required
- CMM experience
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Manufacturing, aerospace, or semiconductor experience preferred
Work Environment
- Clean production and laboratory environment
- Exposure to controlled chemical and wastewater environments
- PPE provided as required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout shift
- Frequent use of hands and measuring equipment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Must pass company-required screening tests
