Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Banquet Server/Banquet Setup to assist in the setup and serving of banquet events. The ideal candidate will ensure that all banquet areas are set up correctly and that guests receive excellent service during events.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up banquet rooms according to the event orders and specifications.
2. Assist with food and beverage service during events, including serving plated meals, buffets, and beverages.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events.
4. Respond to guest inquiries and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
6. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
7. Assist with breakdown and cleanup of banquet rooms after events are completed.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in banquet service or a similar role is preferred.
2. Knowledge of proper food and beverage service techniques.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on customer service.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of food and beverages.
6. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
