Avid by IHG in beautiful Traverse City, MI is looking for a friendly and energetic Breakfast Attendant to kick off our guests' mornings in the best way possible! Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and replenish the breakfast buffet throughout service hours
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive dining experience
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards at all times
- Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items including coffee, juices, and pastries
- Keep the dining area clean, organized, and fully stocked during breakfast service
- Clear and sanitize tables, counters, and food stations following health and safety guidelines
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any concerns with a smile
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a warm, outgoing personality
- Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
