The Hampton Inn Traverse City is looking for a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a great start to the day for our guests by providing a clean, welcoming breakfast area and ensuring our complimentary breakfast service runs smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the hotel’s complimentary breakfast each morning
- Ensure food items are fully stocked throughout breakfast hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, lobby, and kitchen space
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor food quality and freshness and replenish items as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and equipment
- Assist with light kitchen prep and dishwashing as needed
- Properly store food items and maintain inventory levels
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Previous hotel or food service experience is a plus but not required
