What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and grow a portfolio of commercial clients through proactive outreach, referrals, and networking
- Develop tailored financial proposals and ensure opportunities meet profitability goals
- Partner with product specialists to deliver comprehensive banking solutions
- Review and approve loan requests within authority or present to loan committees for approval
- Monitor client performance and industry trends to identify risks early
- Complete loan renewals and modifications on time
- Maintain compliance with credit, operational, and regulatory requirements
- Cross-sell additional bank products and refer clients to other business lines when beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance (or equivalent banking experience)
- 7–10 years of experience in complex commercial lending for middle-market clients
- Formal credit training preferred
- Deep knowledge of credit risk management and regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of business development and portfolio growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
