We are seeking to hire a motivated Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to the team.
Summary
This role supports the planning, preparation, and analysis of annual budgets and financial forecasts. The position plays a key role in delivering insights through financial reporting and analysis for senior leadership. It operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and offers visibility across multiple levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing and coordinating detailed timelines and checklists across business units
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including data entry, tracking submissions, generating reports, and providing analytical insights
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy within financial planning systems
- Support administration and maintenance of financial planning tools, including system security and structure
- Conduct overhead cost analysis and prepare monthly variance reports in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop, analyze, and present financial reports comparing actual results to budget and forecast
- Investigate variances, identify key drivers, and communicate findings with actionable recommendations to management
- Partner with departments to support budget preparation, justification, and respond to budget-related inquiries
- Document processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Prepare recurring dashboards and ad hoc financial reports as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Hyperion Planning/Essbase preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of an organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certifications (CPA, CFA) or advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
