What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Washer position at Tb&b power washers?
Responsibilities: hours worked are 11am-5pm Tuesday through Thursday friday 11am-8pm Saturday 10am-7pm. Hours may change due to weather.
Execute Thorough Washing: Perform high-quality, efficient exterior power washing of semi-tractors, trailers, and other commercial vehicles to remove road grime, dirt, salt, and other contaminants.
Surface Preparation: Apply appropriate commercial-grade soaps, degreasers, and cleaning agents safely and effectively before and during the wash process.
Equipment Operation: Safely and proficiently operate high-pressure washing equipment, hoses, and nozzles, adjusting pressure levels as needed to avoid damage to vehicles.
Detailing: Ensure all surfaces, including wheels, undercarriages, fuel tanks, and chrome components, are thoroughly cleaned and rinsed to meet company cleanliness standards.
Inspection & Reporting: Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage during the washing process and report any findings immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Maintenance & Inventory: Perform routine inspection and light maintenance on washing equipment (e.g., checking water levels, cleaning filters). Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols (OSHA), chemical handling procedures, and environmental regulations regarding wastewater disposal.
Work Area Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized wash bay or work area.
Qualifications:
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift and move equipment up to [Specify weight, e.g., 50] pounds.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and detail to ensure a streak-free and thorough clean on large vehicles.
Safety Mindset: Knowledge of safety procedures related to high-pressure water and chemical handling.
