Job Overview
Tazza Pizza is a busy, fast-growing pizzeria serving pizza, cheesesteaks, sandwiches, and more. We pride ourselves on great food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking for dependable, high-energy team members to join our front-of-house team. As a Cashier / Front Counter Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers. You’ll take orders, handle transactions, and help keep the front area running smoothly during both steady and high-volume hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders in person and over the phone
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system
- Handle cash, card, and online order pickups
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timing
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and register clean and organized
- Assist with light cleaning (tables, counters, floors as needed)
- Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service
Requirements
- Prior cashier or restaurant experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable handling busy rush periods
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability (including evenings and weekends)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
