Taza Construction LLC is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Intern to support brand positioning, client outreach, and strategic growth in the construction industry. This role will involve working with general contractors, developers, and key industry stakeholders to market our services and drive business expansion. The ideal candidate will have a blend of marketing expertise, digital marketing skills, and industry knowledge to effectively promote our construction projects and capabilities.
Role Description:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies specific to the construction and contracting industry.
- Conduct market research to identify target clients, B2C, B2G & B2B marketing, lead generation, industry trends, and competitor positioning.
- Work with the business development team to generate leads and build relationships with contractors, developers, and real estate firms.
- Develop proposals, bids, and presentations for new construction projects and government contracts.
- Create and manage content for social media, website, and digital marketing campaigns tailored to the construction industry.
- Manage email marketing campaigns to engage potential clients and nurture leads.
- Implement and track SEO/SEM strategies to optimize the company’s digital presence.
- Utilize Google Analytics and WordPress to measure and improve online engagement.
- Support PPC advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads) for lead generation.
- Assist in preparing sales materials, brochures, and case studies showcasing past projects.
- Design and develop marketing visuals using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage and update CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) to track client interactions and business opportunities.
- Assist in networking, client outreach, and industry event participation to expand business connections.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic growth initiatives for market expansion.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing, MBA, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Email marketing experience (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar platforms).
- Strong digital marketing skills, including SEO, SEM, and Google Ads management.
- Experience with Google Analytics, WordPress, Shopify and PPC advertising.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills for email and website marketing.
- Procore certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction bid proposals, RFPs, and government contracting is a plus.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor insights, and business opportunities.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to work.
