About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing, Communication & Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team in Chicago.
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work in an international and multicultural environment while gaining valuable experience in marketing, communications, sponsorship development, and business outreach.
You will support the Chamber’s marketing and event activities, assist in identifying new sponsors and business leads, and help ensure the successful execution of our signature events throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
• Sponsorship Development: Research and identify potential sponsors and partners for the Chamber’s signature events and programs.
• Lead Generation: Support membership development by identifying and contacting potential corporate members and partners.
• Marketing & Communications:
• Draft press releases, newsletters, and promotional materials (in English and French).
• Contribute to social media management and website updates.
• Assist with strategic communication initiatives to enhance the Chamber’s visibility.
• Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of professional networking events and corporate gatherings (logistics, registration, follow-up, etc.).
• Administrative Support: Assist with small operational and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications
• Academic background in Marketing, Communications, Business Development, or International Relations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools
• Work authorization required in the U.S. (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).
