As a Wound Care Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in assessing, treating, and monitoring resident wounds while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive outcomes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing comprehensive wound assessments for residents
- Developing and implementing individualized wound care treatment plans
- Administering wound care treatments and dressing changes
- Monitoring healing progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate care
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and treatment records
- Supporting infection prevention and quality care initiatives
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- Wound care experience preferred
- WCC certification preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of wound treatment and infection prevention practices
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented professional
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for providing high-quality resident-centered care
