The Director of Kindergarten will oversee the daily operations, curriculum, and staff management of the kindergarten program. Responsibilities include creating and implementing educational and spiritual activities, ensuring compliance with state and church regulations, mentoring and supervising teachers, and fostering a Christ-centered learning environment. The role includes establishing communication with parents and staff while ensuring the program meets students' developmental and spiritual needs. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greenville, SC.
- Early childhood education experience, including curriculum design and classroom management
- Leadership and staff supervision skills, with the ability to build a collaborative and supportive team culture
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and administrative capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for working in a faith-based environment, with an understanding of and alignment with the church’s vision and mission
- Experience in developing and maintaining a positive learning environment for children
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with state regulations for early childhood education programs
