You’ll be part of a collaborative accounting team, working closely with internal partners to resolve discrepancies, support month end close, and maintain the integrity of financial data. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and apply incoming payments in a high volume setting, ensuring proper posting and documentation.
- Reconcile revenue related activity using internal reports and tracking tools, investigating and resolving variances.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to customer payments and third party statements with a methodical approach.
- Process outgoing payments to external partners in accordance with established timelines and procedures.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and review subledger activity for accuracy and completeness.
- Support month end close activities, including account analysis and journal entry support.
- Prepare and distribute recurring aging and activity reports to internal stakeholders.
- Compile and deliver periodic performance and compensation related reporting to support leadership review.
- Build and maintain Excel based analysis tools using pivot tables and lookup formulas.
- Support data integrity initiatives, including cleanup projects and system accuracy reviews.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist with audit support as needed.
- Collaborate with accounting teammates and cross functional partners to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable within a high transaction environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Solid understanding of cash application, reconciliations, and AR workflows.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under volume and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to identify discrepancies and follow them through to resolution.
- Clear communicator who works well across teams and with external partners.
