VP of Project Finance Credit Risk
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Compensation: $170,500 β $200,000 bonus

Responsibilities:
- Review and assess credit applications submitted by the front office.
- Analyze credit structures, risk/return profiles, collateral, and key transaction risks.
- Build and review financial projection and recovery models; evaluate assumptions in sensitivity cases.
- Compare prospective transactions against peers and industry trends.
- Prepare well-organized and accurate credit opinions and executive summaries with clear recommendations.
- Monitor assigned borrowers, industries, and risk migration on an ongoing basis.
- Engage with internal stakeholders (coverage, syndicate, rating agencies, legal advisors) to support transaction execution.
- Serve as a liaison between credit departments and senior management regarding credit policies and analysis.
Requirements:
- 8 years of credit analysis or project finance experience, ideally within project/infrastructure finance, structured credit, or corporate banking.
- Strong knowledge of credit structures, financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and risk management.
- Proven ability to assess credit migration trends and default risk.
- Excellent communication skills to prepare clear, concise credit opinions and interact with senior leadership.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- Formal credit training strongly desired.
- Technical proficiency in Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
