Vice President, Structured Credit

A growing credit investment platform is building out a new structured credit product and is hiring a Vice President to help lead it from the ground up. This is an entrepreneurial, deal-mode seat for someone on the buy-side who wants ownership rather than a defined lane, with a clear path to leading deals and building a team as the platform scales over the next couple of years.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and structure transactions across a broad set of structured credit asset classes, with a near-term focus on loan-based assets, private fund formation structures, and fund finance.
- Build and own credit analysis, financial models, and structuring work end to end, from screening through to close.
- Conduct due diligence on obligors, structures, and portfolios to inform investment decisions.
- Help shape the product as it expands into structured loans and asset-based finance, contributing to strategy as well as execution.
Qualifications
- 4 years of structured credit experience
- Broad exposure across asset classes, including CLOs, ABS/ ABF facilities, BDC financings
- Strong credit underwriting, structuring, and financial modeling fundamentals.
- A buy-side, deal-oriented mindset and the appetite to build something new
Salary : $175,000 - $250,000
