Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial agreements independently to support business needs.
- Oversee a high volume of contracts, including supply, licensing, technical, warranty, development, services, confidentiality, consulting, and materials agreements.
- Review redlines, guide negotiations, and provide practical advice to business stakeholders.
- Advise on strategic, regulatory, and transactional matters impacting supply chain and other business units.
- Manage contract disputes, including drafting and responding to breach of contract claims.
- Develop and maintain standard contract templates to streamline operations.
- Identify and assess legal and operational risks, communicating them effectively to the General Counsel.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure consistency in contract terms and risk allocation across the organization.
- Handle additional legal matters as needed to support the business.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor and active license to practice law in Texas.
- At least 8 years of legal experience, ideally combining law firm and in‑house practice.
- Exceptional communication skills, with business‑level fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin, German, or other languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate issues, drive projects forward, and deliver pragmatic legal and business solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Quick learner with strong analytical skills, adaptability, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
