We’re partnering with a leading investment platform seeking an Associate. This is a transaction-oriented investment role supporting underwriting, structuring, and execution across a broad range of life sciences financing opportunities. You’ll gain exposure to sophisticated investment underwriting, structured transactions, and portfolio management while working directly alongside experienced investment professionals on high-impact deals within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Perform underwriting, financial analysis, and valuation for complex investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions.
- Evaluate credit quality, transaction risks, capital structures, and downside scenarios.
- Support execution of structured financings, royalty transactions, and other bespoke capital solutions.
- Conduct portfolio monitoring and ongoing performance analysis across existing investments.
- Participate in transaction due diligence, investment committee materials, and negotiation support.
- Analyze public and private market opportunities while partnering closely with senior investment professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, leveraged lending
- Excellent financial modeling, underwriting, and analytical capabilities.
- Experience evaluating complex capital structures and credit risk.
