We are partnering with a high-growth credit platform on a confidential search for a Portfolio Manager to join a tightly held leveraged finance team. The platform operates at the intersection of bank lending and institutional credit, and the PM will own a portfolio of non-investment grade corporate exposures through the life of each credit.
Responsibilities
- Surveillance and monitoring of an assigned portfolio of leveraged loan exposures, including quarterly financial tracking, rating action review, and watchlist management
- Credit memos on underperforming names, with clear views on path forward, recommended actions, and restructuring dynamics
- Evaluation of amendments, waivers, and covenant activity across the book
- Excel-based models, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure that scale with the portfolio
- Written and verbal credit updates to internal stakeholders and external partners on credit evolution and restructuring options
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and a voice in how the platform’s portfolio function evolves
Qualifications:
- 4 of experience in leveraged finance, with credit surveillance, portfolio management, or post-close monitoring as a meaningful part of yourwork
- Fluency in non-investment grade corporate credit
- Advanced Excel and Tableau
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
