Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Salesperson with ability to promote and sell HVAC, Plumbing, and propane systems to residential and/or commercial customers. This role involves identifying customer needs, recommend appropriate system solutions, and preparing estimates, and closing sales while ensuring excellent customer service.
General and Administrative
· Communicate effectively with the General Manager/Owner informing and updating them regularly
· Follow systems and procedures for picking up new accounts.
· Supporting company operations as needed.
· Ability to develop and type proposals using Microsoft Word
Sales and Marketing
· Generate new business through leads, referrals, and networking
· Actively manage leads and meet with customers to assess HVAC, plumbing, and propane system needs
· Effectively design, present, and discuss system solutions as well as products and services provided by the company while conveying an image of quality, integrity, and understanding of the customers’ needs
· Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts to prospective customers in a timely manner
· Develop a strategic sales plan that identifies prospects and customers and prioritize them according to importance
· Develop a call schedule to adequately cover territory and provide reports and data on results.
· Develop annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the General Manager/Owner.
· Understand and comply with the sales system in place.
· Create and deliver proposals to prospective customers in a timely manner
· Coordinate with installation team and provide part lists and pictures to technicians to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications:
· Knowledge and experience with HVAC, Plumbing, and Propane trades (preferably 5 years)
· Strong verbal and written communications skills.
· Organizational and Math Skills
· Ability to guide service technicians through the installation of proposed jobs
· Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
· Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
· Must be a self-starter and a problem solver.
· Must posses a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
Working Conditions:
· Variable work environment: Work is conducted both indoors and out with varying environmental conditions.
· Crawling into attics and crawl spaces to inspect mechanical systems.
· Kneeling, crawling, and climbing ladders and roofs at customer locations.
· Majority of time sent out of the office contacting potential customers.
· Up to several hours per day may be spent operating a motor vehicle.
· Appearance always must represent the company image.
· Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
