The School Bus Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school and various extracurricular activities. The driver will be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Kentucky Commercial Class B driver’s license, including passenger endorsement; School Bus Certificate; must pass driving record check.

- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving large vehicles or buses.
- Familiarity with local traffic patterns and school zones.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, routes taken, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior, ensuring a welcoming environment for students.
- Monitor student behavior during transit and enforce safety rules to ensure a safe journey.
- Communicate effectively with school officials, parents, and students regarding transportation schedules and any issues that may arise.
