Overview:

We are a Construction and Demolition Recycling Facility operating in Montgomery, New York. Weare seeking to expand our team with motivated individuals who are eager to jump in, learn quickly, and take on responsibility. Our facility thrives on teamwork and reliability, and we’re excited to bring on someone who’s ready to contribute from day one.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Closed for Federal Holidays

Initial Duties - Weighmaster:

In order to fully understand our operation, we ask that all new candidates begin their training at the scale. Starting at the scale provides a strong foundation in how our workflow functions day-to-day and ensures you gain firsthand experience with customers and the core of our process. This initial training not only helps you build confidence in the role, but also allows you to step in and provide coverage when needed. By learning the scale operations from the ground up, you’ll be better prepared to grow within the company and take on additional responsibilities as you progress.

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

As you gain experience and become comfortable with the scale operations, you will have the opportunity to expand your role and contribute to other areas of the office. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Office Operations: Learning and supporting general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping to help keep operations running smoothly.
  • Customer Service – Container Side: Assisting with one-on-one customer interactions over the phone, providing quotes, handling inquiries, and building strong customer relationships.
  • Scheduling & Dispatching: Coordinating deliveries and pickups, ensuring drivers have accurate information, and helping the team stay organized.
  • Pricing & Billing Support: Providing pricing information, assisting with customer issues, and maintaining communication in regard to billing.
  • Cross-Training & Coverage: Gaining familiarity with multiple areas of the office to provide coverage when needed and develop a broad understanding of overall operations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, data entry, computer competency)
  • Ability to follow instructions clearly and ask questions when needed
  • Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
