Aquinas Consulting has a need to fill a Customer Service Representative job at a top manufacturing company in Middletown, NY. This fast-paced position is with one of our key customers in the Flavors and Fragrances products manufacturing field. They are adding this role due to a large new product launch as well as an increased demand and workload.
Customer Service Representative Job responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and assistance to Customers.
- Process receipt to ensure 5 day replacement goal to meet customer expectations.
- Respond to inquiries regarding pricing, orders, product availability, expedites and shipping information.
- Average phone volume is 30-40 calls per day with extensive emailing and messaging.
- Resolve all questions pertaining to customer orders within 5 day policy.
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer experience and to help improve KPI scores.
- Utilize Customer database when applicable.
Requirements:
- College degree is a plus
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- 3-5 years of customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
- Ability to work with existing and new customers to grow accounts
This is a CONTRACT position based in Middletown, NY. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $18.00 - $23.00. Contractors working through Aquinas Consulting are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical indemnity coverage, a 401(k) plan, and biweekly direct deposit pay. Contract roles do not include PTO unless required by applicable state laws.
