What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Service Representative position at TAYLOR LINEN SERVICES, INC?
A Route Service Representative for Taylor Linen is responsible for making deliveries and pickups from a set weekly customer base. The most important relationship in our business is that of the RSR and the customer. The RSR is a personal liaison between the customer and Taylor Linen, and should have a good perspective on the customer’s needs. A strong relationship between the two will be beneficial for not only Taylor Linen Services, but for all customers for years to come.
Responsibility & Daily Duties
Day-to-day maintenance of delivery trucks (i.e., checking oil, tires)- Vehicles to be cleaned out EVERY Friday
DOT Truck Report
Loading of clean linen and unloading of soiled linen
Being on call on designated weekends
Keeping accurate accounts of truck inventory, as well as customer inventory
Accurate Daily checkups and paperwork for account maintenance
Collections of accounts receivable
Contract renewals and additional sales
Ability to forecast delivery for customer from week to week
Safe driving practices
Adherence to Cell phone Policy
Accept any and all additional responsibilities necessary for the success of the company and its employees or customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
