Senior Events Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact external events supporting senior leadership and key stakeholders. This role owns events end to end—from strategy and logistics through onsite delivery and post-event reporting—ensuring each event delivers clear business, relationship, and brand outcomes.
This is a hands-on, highly visible role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable leading cross-functional teams and vendors without formal direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Planning
- Develop event concepts, objectives, and execution plans aligned with business priorities.
- Create detailed event briefs, timelines, logistics plans, and cost models.
- Source venues and negotiate contracts with hotels, event spaces, production vendors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate lodging, catering, audiovisual, décor, transportation, and hospitality needs.
- Forecast, track, and manage event budgets.
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Define event staffing and participation models, including attendee strategy and executive briefing needs.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to align on objectives, deliverables, and schedules.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, guidance, and planning materials.
Onsite Event Leadership
- Lead onsite setup, registration flow, staging, and meeting room execution.
- Manage internal support teams, contractors, and venue staff during events.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure seamless execution and strong attendee experience.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Lead negotiations with hospitality partners, venues, AV providers, and agencies.
- Evaluate vendor proposals for cost efficiency, quality, and service standards.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and oversee performance.
Post-Event & Optimization
- Deliver post-event reporting including budget reconciliation, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Conduct stakeholder debriefs and recommend improvements for future events.
- Track event effectiveness including engagement, meeting outcomes, and ROI.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in corporate event management, hospitality, or large-scale event planning.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-day events from planning through onsite execution.
- Strong contract negotiation experience with hotels, venues, and event vendors.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendors without formal people management.
- Excellent budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting skills.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting senior executives, VIPs, or high-visibility stakeholder events.
- Familiarity with event management platforms, CRM systems, or attendee workflow tools preferred.
- Experience with global or multi-regional events a plus.
Salary : $55 - $70
