We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of concrete mixes and ensure proper consistency for various projects.
- Operate concrete mixers and other equipment necessary for pouring and finishing concrete.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving materials and equipment on construction sites.
- Engage in concrete forming to create molds for various structures, ensuring accuracy in dimensions.
- Participate in hardscape projects, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Apply caulking as needed to seal joints and prevent water infiltration.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in restoration projects that involve repairing or replacing existing concrete structures.
- Support construction estimating efforts by providing input on material needs and project timelines.
Skills
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete-related tasks.
- Knowledge of concrete pumping techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with drywall installation as it relates to finishing work after concrete is set.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
