Canvas Restaurant & Market, part of Tavistock Restaurant Collection, is a vibrant lakeside restaurant located in Laureate Park in the heart of Lake Nona. Known for its waterfront views, lively yet approachable atmosphere, and New American cuisine with Florida and Latin influences, Canvas is a neighborhood favorite for brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour.
We’re looking for experienced, hospitality-driven Servers to join our team and help us deliver the warm, genuine service our guests return for again and again.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Server is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure.
What You’ll Do
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Confidently guide guests through our food and beverage menus, including daily features, cocktails, and wine
- Take accurate orders, enter them into the POS system, and coordinate seamlessly with bar and kitchen teams
- Ensure all steps of service are followed—from greeting and refills to quality checks and payment handling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready section at all times
- Collaborate with your teammates to support the entire floor, not just your own tables
- Uphold company standards for hospitality, professionalism, and appearance

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of serving experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant (scratch kitchen or upscale casual a plus)
- Strong knowledge of basic food and beverage service, including wine, beer, and cocktails
- Polished, professional, and personable communication style
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm under pressure during peak service
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
Schedule & Compensation
- Status: Part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Schedule: Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required (including brunch)
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate plus tips, based on experience
