Tavern on George is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You’ll help keep service running smoothly by ensuring dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant. Evening and weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean and organized.
• Return clean dishes and equipment to their proper locations.
• Remove trash and recycling and keep disposal areas clean.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup, including sweeping, mopping, and closing duties.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and communicate with the kitchen team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift kitchen items.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and closing shifts.
• Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate.
