What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP - Renewable Energy Investing position at Taurus Search?
Our client, a global investment manager who is focused on renewable investments within solar and wind in North America is looking for a VP to join their North American investments team.
This role will be sat within in the main team investing from the flagship fund.
Responsibilities include:
- Originating deals within renewable energy PE
- Extensive networking within the wind and solar financing space
- Leading efforts for creating, maintaining, and reviewing financial models, equity structures and debt financing
- Manage deal execution team, interacting with both junior and senior deal team members etc
- Analysis of both tax equity and debt financing structures
Requirements:
- · 7 years of experience in energy or infrastructure energy projects
- · Relevant experience within M&A, financing or development projects.
- · Previous North American experience is a must
- · Strong demonstrable attention to detail when reviewing documents specifically acquisition documents, off-take agreements, shareholder agreements and project financing documents etc
