Taurus Search is working with a fast paced start up working within PE. Our client is looking to hire a strong accounting professional, ideally with leadership experience, to join a newly created role as they continue to bring on major clients in private equity and private debt!

This role will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts - handling the coordination between the clients and the internal teams on product delivery.
Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned clients
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned client's fund structures and SOPs.
- Assign workload and necessary deadlines for: capital calls, distributions, valuations, cash monitoring, management fees and reporting functions
- Review and finalize quarterly financial statements, investor letters, and other required assignments
- Assist with managing investor inquiries, fielding reporting questions, and other ad hoc requests
- Coach and mentor team members in all aspects of work
- When issues arise, create innovative solutions and manage follow up
- Act as an advisor to clients
Requirements:
- 6-10 years in fund accounting, public accounting, or fund administration
- Strong understanding of PE fund structures and operations
- Bachelors degree required
- CPA or MBA a plus
