What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Specialist position at Taurus Search?
What you’ll do:
• Create business requirement documents for the functional (regulatory and/or business rules) and non-functional (data handling, governance) capabilities needed for Liquidity Regulatory Reporting.
• Assist in appropriately sizing liquidity buffer requirements.
• Perform daily validation and analysis of LCR, NSFR reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform data analysis and research in refining liquidity assumptions.
Review recommendations and finalize changes with second line of defense.
• Assist in appropriately sizing liquidity buffer requirements.
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes and perform gap analysis.
• Analyze and interpret data from different sources like databases and spreadsheets and make recommendations for technical solutions and automation.
• Perform data analysis and defect identification. Work with technology partners to uncover data discrepancies and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure closure.
• Act as treasury liaison in projects for developing liquidity monitoring tools.
• Clearly document and present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Contribute to ad hoc analytical projects and reporting, primarily related to liquidity.
Qualifications:
• Ability to translate complex business problems into discrete
quantifiable components;
• Deep knowledge of liquidity subjects (6G, LCR,
NSFR)
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, complex problem resolution
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5 years of related work experience in a financial organization
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Experience with SQL, Tableau and/or Alteryx is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to organize and manage multiple changing processes
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, problem resolution skills
