Business Development Representative – Outbound (Fintech / Fixed Income)

We’re hiring an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a growing fintech sales team focused on the fixed income investment management space.
This role sits at the front of the commercial engine and is responsible for generating pipeline, engaging senior decision-makers, and setting qualified meetings for a high-performing Account Executive team.
The Role
- Execute targeted outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Identify and engage decision-makers across asset managers, RIAs, broker-dealers, trust companies, and institutional investors
- Research and qualify prospective accounts within the fixed income investment management ecosystem
- Apply structured qualification frameworks (e.g. MEDDIC or similar) to assess opportunity fit
- Schedule high-quality meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate activity, notes, and lead status within Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing on messaging effectiveness and campaign feedback
- Consistently hit monthly and quarterly targets for meetings booked and pipeline generated
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in an outbound SDR / BDR role within fintech, SaaS, or financial services
- Exposure to fixed income, capital markets, or investment management environments strongly preferred
- Comfortable engaging C-level and senior investment professionals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and quota-based targets
- Experience using Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools (e.g. SalesLoft)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, coachable, and motivated in a high-growth environment
