What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accounting Manager - Private Equity position at Taurus Search?
Taurus is working with a fast paced start up in the fund administration space. Our client is looking to hire a strong accounting professional, ideally with leadership experience, to join a newly created role as they continue to bring on major clients heading into 2026! Responsibilities Include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned clients
- Work with the client's internal teams to manage fund operations, capital calls, distributions, valuations, cash monitoring, management fees and reporting functions
- Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor letters, and other required assignments
- Assist with managing investor inquiries, fielding reporting questions, and other ad hoc requests
- Escalate issues to the client managers as appropriate
- Work with the client managers for client calls and management of client relationships
Requirements:
- 6 years in fund accounting, public accounting, or fund administration
- Strong understanding of PE fund structures and operations
- Bachelors degree required
- CPA or MBA a plus
