Counter Team Members & Baristas - Tatte Wellesley

Our Front of House Team Members create welcoming experiences for every guest who visits our cafés. Whether working as a Counter Team Member or Barista, you'll provide exceptional hospitality, maintain a clean and organized café, and deliver high-quality food and beverages with care and consistency.

We are looking for team members who:

• Have engaging, warm, and welcoming communication skills.
• Have a passion for hospitality, coffee, and great food.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and helping wherever needed.

• Have flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ideally have at least 1 year of barista experience using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment (Barista only).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Counter Team Member

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Build product knowledge to confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
• Take guest orders using the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and package food according to Tatte standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked café stations.
• Support café cleanliness, visual standards, and food safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Barista

• Welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality.
• Prepare handcrafted espresso beverages according to Tatte recipes and standards.
• Answer guest questions about coffee and café offerings.
• Operate espresso machines and bar equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station.
• Deliver beautiful, high-quality coffee beverages with consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Passion for hospitality, coffee, and teamwork.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced café environment.
• At least 1 year of manual espresso experience is preferred for Barista positions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift overhead.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per shift.
