Senior Asset Management Specialist

Position Summary

Tatra Solutions is seeking a Senior Logistics/Asset Management Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard Mission Essential Personnel Equipment Product Line. This position will provide lifecycle logistics, configuration management, supply management, maintenance management, and asset-management support for mission-critical personal protective equipment.

The selected individual will also serve as the onsite Program Manager and primary point of contact for Tatra Solutions, the Contracting Officer, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative.

Location: U.S. Coast Guard Base Portsmouth, Portsmouth, Virginia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Status: Contingent upon contract award

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide lifecycle logistics and asset-management support for Coast Guard equipment and supply programs.
• Develop logistics support strategies and fielding plans for new and existing equipment.
• Develop configuration-management plans for supported equipment sets.
• Identify resource requirements for total lifecycle logistics support.
• Develop depot- and organizational-level maintenance procedure cards in accordance with applicable Coast Guard standards.
• Monitor and track depot- and organizational-level maintenance activities.
• Maintain configuration control and asset visibility using Coast Guard information systems.
• Coordinate logistics activities with Coast Guard units and interagency organizations.
• Conduct onsite assessments to evaluate equipment supply, maintenance, and accountability.
• Prepare reports, plans, recommendations, and other contract deliverables.
• Manage contract performance and ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Government representatives.
• Supervise and coordinate contractor personnel at the Portsmouth and Alameda locations.
• Maintain staffing continuity and promptly address personnel or performance issues.
• Prepare and submit required progress reports.
• Participate in post-award conferences, progress meetings, and other Government-directed meetings.
• Remain available during normal working hours and respond to technical issues within 24 hours.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen
• At least five (5) years of related logistics, asset-management, configuration-management, supply-management, or maintenance-management experience; or
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience supporting equipment lifecycle management and asset accountability.
• Ability to develop logistics plans, maintenance procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating with customers, operational units, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, or other federal logistics experience.
• Experience supporting personal protective equipment, CBRN equipment, ballistic protection systems, or maritime law-enforcement equipment.
• Experience with CMPRO, CG-One, or comparable product lifecycle and configuration-management systems.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed personnel.
• Prior experience serving as a federal contract Program Manager, Site Lead, or key person.
• Familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information and Privacy Act requirements.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
